UV-Vis-Spectrometer | Jasco, V-650

Location: ECRC, Egerlandstraße 3, 91058 Erlangen, Room H00.14-1

The Jasco V-650 is a dual beam spectrophotometer with a deuterium (190 – 350 nm) and a halogen (330 – 900 nm) light source and a photomultiplier tube detector for accurate measurements of low concentration samples. The spectral bandwidth can be adjusted to > 0.1 nm. Low stray light slit settings provide excellent linearity of up to 4 absorbance units.

  • 10 mm diameter diffuse reflection sample cup (0.25 ml volume)
  • High Temperature Reaction Chamber:
    • 133 µPa – 11.5 MPa (SiO2 window).
    • Temperatures up to 910°C (under vacuum)
  • Low temperature reaction chamber:
    • 133 µPa – 11.5 MPa (SiO2 window)
    • Temperatures down to -150°C – 600°C (under vacuum)
