in situ infrared spectrometer with ht-hp / lt DRIFT

FT/IR Spectrometer | Jasco, FT/IR 4100

Location: ECRC, Egerlandstraße 3a, 91058 Erlangen, Room 00.026

The FT/IR-4100 is a powerful mid-infrared FTIR spectrometer (wavenumber range 7800 to 350 cm-1) equipped with a Ge/KBr beamsplitter, a Peltier-stabilized DLaTGS detector and a high-power ceramic source for maximum sensitivity. The maximum resolution is 0.9 cm-1. Signal-to-noise ratios of more than 22,000:1 at a resolution of 4.0 cm-1 are possible.

Dr.-Ing. Marcus Fischer

Instrument Specification:
  • Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) sample head
  • Transmission holder for measurement of KBr compacts
  • Diffuse Reflection Sampling Head (DRIFTS)
in situ Reaction Chambers | Praying Mantis™ Harrick Scientific Products:
  • 10 mm diameter diffuse reflection sample cup (0.25 ml volume)
  • High Temperature Reaction Chamber:
    • 133 µPa – 133 kPa (KBr window) or 133 µPa – 11.5 MPa (ZnSe window).
    • Temperatures up to 910°C (under vacuum)
    •  Optional: light coupling possible during measurements via optical window
  • Low temperature reaction chamber:
    • 133 µPa – 133 kPa (KBr window) or 133 µPa – 11.5 MPa (ZnSe window)
    • Temperatures down to -150°C – 600°C (under vacuum)
    • Optional: light coupling possible during measurements via optical window
