Optical Microscopy

Optical Microscopes, Carl Zeiss, Axio Imager

Location: LFG, Cauerstraße 4, 91058 Erlangen, Room 0.360 (Axio Imager.M1m) / Haberstraße 9a, 91058 Erlangen, Room 00.816 (Axio Imager.Z2)

Light microscopes for quality inspection, quality assurance, materials analysis and new materials development. They feature improved optics with outstanding contrast and resolution. The stand concept offers maximum flexibility, maximum stability and vibration-free operation. All Axio imagers are equipped as standard with AxioVision software and the AxioCam digital camera family, comprehensive image processing, analysis and measurement modules as well as precisely positioned x,y scanning stages.

Dipl.-Ing. Bettina Winzer (Axio Imager.M1m)

Dr. Naveen Kumar (Axio Imager.Z2)

Two different stand types are available for customised application solutions.

Optical Microscope | Carl Zeiss, Axio Imager.M1m

The Axio imager with motorised and pre-configured stand.

Optical Microscope | Carl Zeiss, Axio Imager.Z2

The Axio imager with Z-drive motor and TFT monitor. This correlative microscope is combined with the MSC CCD UV-NIR spectrometer, also from Carl Zeiss. This spectrometer offers a remarkable level of performance in the spectral range from 190 to 980 nm with great flexibility through different optical input and housing designs as well as detector options for an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio at highest sensitivity.
